For a client from the private healthcare sector, we migrated several Oracle database environments to an autonomous database within the Oracle Database@Google Cloud service.

Oracle Database@Google Cloud is a service that allows you to run Oracle databases on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) directly in Google Cloud data centers.

To carry out the migration, we used Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) – a tool recommended by Oracle for migrating databases to cloud services, including standalone databases.

The project was divided into two key stages. First, Red Stack Poland prepared and conducted a test migration, which allowed us to verify the entire proces, as well identify potential problems and additional tasks that need to be completed before the production migration. After solving them, we carried out the production migration.

All work was carried out on time and with high implementation standards, providing the client with a safe and controlled transition to a modern cloud environment.
